01 - BRIEF
A CITY THAT MATTERS, THOUSANDS OF MILES AWAY
Having once lived in San Francisco, the owner wanted to bring a piece of this city he remains deeply attached to into his office.
Together with his daughters, who both now live in the United States, we designed this custom visual by drawing on their memories, favorite places, and everything that makes this city so special to them.
Our mission: to tell their San Francisco, rather than simply depict the city.
02 - CREATION
A MAP OF MEMORIES, MORE THAN A LANDSCAPE
The design brings together the places, details and references that make up their personal vision of San Francisco: Haight-Ashbury, the Castro, the California 101, the city's architecture, its palm trees, its cable cars and several nods directly tied to their own story. The style is clean and minimalist, mostly black and white with a few touches of blue, in the graphic style of the Cities collection.
Every element was chosen with meaning, making this design a truly personal creation.
03 - THE SET UP
Designed specifically for the architecture of the room, the composition unfolds across several wall sections and naturally follows the volumes, even into the corners. Installation becomes the final step of the creative process: every seam and every graphic element finds its place, turning the design into a true panoramic decor.
A piece conceived to the scale of the space, down to its smallest details.
03 - RESULT
A SAN FRANCISCO ALL THEIR OWN
More than a wallpaper inspired by a destination, the design has become an intimate landscape: a gathering of memories, places and family references brought together in a single composition. Installed in the office of their apartment in Annecy, the piece creates a daily connection with a city thousands of miles away.
