A house that has never been sold. Olive trees, vineyards, ancient stones, and nearly three centuries of family history.
For the renovation of the Mas Sainte-Catherine, in Ceyreste, the idea was to tell this place's story differently: not simply to depict it, but to weave into the artwork everything that makes up its identity : its landscapes and the memories passed down from generation to generation.
To portray a house through everything it has witnessed.

01 - BRIEF
TELLING A PLACE'S STORY, NOT JUST DEPICTING IT
The starting point was a true collection of memories: the family mas, its two rows of olive trees, the vineyards, the dry-stone terraces, the cypress trees, the wisteria on the terrace, the old terracotta tiles, and even the wild boars that still roam the property.
Around the house, the landscape of Ceyreste and La Ciotat completes the story: the Mediterranean, the Bec de l'Aigle, the pine trees and that unmistakable light of the South of France.
Our mission: to design a series of posters that tell this identity, along with early concepts for future wallpapers for the house.
02 - CREATION
A COLLECTION LIKE A SCRAPBOOK OF MEMORIES
Each poster explores a different facet of Ceyreste: the Mas Sainte-Catherine, the row of olive trees, the vineyard, the nearby sea, or the wild boar, a familiar presence on the property.
Cécile composes these elements as fragments of a single story. The landscapes are simplified, the colors bold, and the drawing deliberately keeps a painterly, spontaneous quality.
From one poster to the next, a shared graphic language creates a cohesive collection, deeply tied to the place yet never literal...
03 - RESULT
CEYRESTE, TOLD FROM WITHIN
The series gradually builds the portrait of a place through everything that makes it unique: its architecture, its land, its landscapes and the stories of those who live there.
More than mere depictions of Ceyreste, the posters become objects of memory: a way of preserving traces of the past while accompanying the new life of the Mas Sainte-Catherine.
A home passed down for nearly three centuries, told through the details that belong to it alone.
